The Challenge

Thousands of Ukrainian entrepreneurs arriving in Denmark bring strong motivation and skills—but often lack the local knowledge needed to start a business in a new cultural and regulatory environment. From industry-specific requirements in food and beauty to Danish taxation, pricing, customer expectations, and compliance, the learning curve is steep.

Aalborg Institute for Development created three targeted business incubators to close these gaps, offering practical, hands-on training that empowers Ukrainian founders to build sustainable companies and integrate into the Danish market with confidence.
