The Challenge

Ukrainians across the Nordic region are eager to build new lives and economic opportunities—but many lack access to structured, practical entrepreneurship training tailored to their local context. At the same time, entrepreneurial skills play a critical role in Ukraine’s long-term reconstruction.

UAccelerate was launched to bridge this gap by providing free, high-quality workshops and resources that empower Ukrainians to build businesses wherever they are—while strengthening their future capacity to rebuild and innovate in Ukraine.

Our Approach

As part of the UAccelerate program, Aalborg Institute for Development (AID) designed and delivered multiple practical workshops, offered both online and in-person through the European–Ukrainian Hub in Copenhagen. These sessions brought together participants from all three Nordic countries.

Key workshop topics included:

Adaptive Sales Strategies for the Nordic Market
Understanding customer behaviour, cultural differences, B2B/B2C sales, and practical communication strategies.

Pitching for Entrepreneurs
How to craft and deliver a compelling pitch that attracts partners, customers, and investors.

Funding & Financial Essentials
Overview of grants, financial opportunities, and how to prepare for funding processes.

Artificial Intelligence for Marketing
How to use AI tools to create content, automate tasks, and boost brand visibility.

Sales & Growth Techniques
Methods to convert leads, strengthen relationships, and scale sustainably.

The program gave participants free access to expert knowledge, tools, and a supportive Nordic-wide entrepreneurial network.

Aalborg Institute for Development’s Role

AID acted as both content developer and workshop facilitator. We created and delivered expert-led training on sales, pitching, funding, and AI, ensuring each topic was accessible, actionable, and tailored to the realities of Nordic markets.

All workshops combined strategic insights with hands-on tools that participants could implement immediately in their ventures.

Looking Ahead

UAccelerate continues to grow as a cross-Nordic platform supporting Ukrainian entrepreneurs with knowledge, community, and opportunities.
