English Communication Course for Teachers
English Communication for Teachers is a 5-day course that helps educators improve their English communication skills towards A2–B1 level for international and professional contexts, including meetings, mobility programmes, and collaboration with colleagues abroad.
Through a communicative and task-based approach, participants develop spoken fluency, confidence, and intercultural awareness. The course focuses on practical language used in real professional situations, helping teachers express ideas clearly, participate in discussions, give instructions, and manage communication challenges in international environments.
By combining interactive activities, discussions, and real-life scenarios, the programme ensures active participation and immediate practical application. Participants leave the course better prepared to communicate effectively with colleagues from different countries and to engage confidently in international educational settings.
By the end of this course, participant will be able to:
Participants will develop greater fluency and feel more comfortable speaking English in everyday and professional situations such as meetings, presentations, and discussions.

Your 5-Day Learning Journey
The first day focuses on community building and creating a collaborative learning environment. Participants are introduced to the course structure and learning expectations while setting personal goals for the week. Teachers also present themselves and their institutions, helping to establish connections and create an open, international learning atmosphere.
This session explores cultural awareness and communication styles in international environments. Participants engage in structured speaking activities focusing on Danish culture and workplace communication, cultural differences in educational systems, and managing culture shock in professional mobility contexts. The language focus includes expressing opinions, agreeing and disagreeing politely, and participating constructively in discussions.
The third day focuses on essential communication tools used in everyday professional contexts. Participants practice giving clear instructions, making polite requests, and responding appropriately in both formal and informal situations. Role-play scenarios simulate real professional interactions such as meetings, school visits, and conference participation.
This session develops strategies for managing communication breakdowns and improving clarity. Participants practice asking for clarification, reformulating ideas, handling misunderstandings, and using self-correction and paraphrasing techniques. An interactive task-based activity in Aalborg allows teachers to apply these skills in authentic communication contexts.
The final day focuses on reflection and integration of the learning outcomes. Participants review their progress, exchange peer and trainer feedback, and discuss future development goals. The course concludes with certificate distribution and a closing networking session.

Participants stay in comfortable accommodation in Aalborg, providing a convenient and welcoming environment throughout the course. Staying together also creates additional opportunities for networking, informal discussions, and exchange of experiences between educators from different countries.
Participants leave the course with practical strategies, teaching tools, and resources they can immediately apply in their classrooms. Whether learning about AI tools, communication techniques, or student-centred learning approaches, the focus is on solutions that are directly transferable to everyday teaching practice.

At the end of the course, participants receive a certificate of attendance documenting their participation and learning outcomes.
