Bridging the Gender Gap in VET Inclusive Pathways for Women in Technical and Industrial Sectors

Women in VET

Across Europe, women remain underrepresented in vocational education fields such as engineering, construction, and IT. This imbalance limits opportunities for women and reduces the diversity of talent entering industries that are in high demand. The Women in VET project addresses this challenge by creating inclusive pathways for adult women to access and thrive in technical and industrial sectors.

Our Role (Aalborg Institute for Development)

At AID, we lead the development of digital resources and dissemination. We are creating AI-supported learning tools, case studies, and practical materials to ensure VET institutions across Europe can easily integrate inclusive teaching strategies. Through our network of Danish VET schools and training hubs, we will ensure that the project’s outcomes reach educators, learners, and decision-makers at scale.
