Why this Project Matters
For Bloomtree Technologies, the challenge wasn’t the quality of their products — it was how effectively they reached and engaged customers online. With a competitive digital landscape and evolving customer expectations, the company needed a clearer strategy for e-commerce, data integration, and identifying new market opportunities. Without it, growth potential risked being left untapped.
Our Approach
Through the SMV:Digital program, Aalborg Institute for Development partnered with Bloomtree Technologies to design a tailored digital roadmap. Key steps included:
- Strategic Consultation – initial workshops to define pain points in the current e-commerce model and outline growth ambitions.
- Market & Competitor Analysis – identifying new market trends, customer segments, and benchmarking against competitor strategies.
- Platform Evaluation – a deep review of Bloomtree’s online marketplace, assessing user experience, functionality, and customer journey design.
- System Integration – guidance on data-driven solutions to support CRM integration and advanced customer segmentation.
Training & Capacity Building – specialized sessions on digital marketplaces, UX best practices, SEO, and data-informed decision-making.

Our role was to ensure Bloomtree Technologies not only improved its e-commerce infrastructure but also developed the internal skills to sustain future growth.

Looking Ahead
With its strengthened e-commerce platform and new digital insights, Bloomtree Technologies is now positioned to scale its online presence and expand into new markets. The project demonstrated how targeted advisory support can give SMEs the competitive edge they need in an increasingly digital economy.
