The Challenge

Thousands of Ukrainians arriving in Denmark bring strong skills and ambition but face a complex business environment—from taxation and legal structures to cultural expectations and market norms. Without tailored guidance, many aspiring entrepreneurs lack the knowledge, confidence, and tools to start a business safely and sustainably.

This project delivered 22 highly targeted workshops covering the entire entrepreneurial journey. By blending local Danish expertise with support from the Ukrainian community, the program made business knowledge accessible, practical, and directly applicable to participants’ real-life challenges.

Heading 2

Aalborg Institute for Development (AID), designed and delivered a complete workshop package across five thematic areas. The workshops were offered online and in-person, ensuring high accessibility for Ukrainians across Denmark.
