Why this Project Matters
Montessori International Preschool is known for its unique educational approach and strong demand — with waiting lists of up to three years. Yet behind the success, the school faced a challenge: limited digital communication with parents. Families struggled to find timely updates about their children’s daily activities and the school’s programs. In a global, competitive education market, this gap risked undermining the strong community the preschool had built.
Our Approach
Aalborg Institute for Development supported Montessori International Preschool in designing and implementing a complete digital transformation. Key actions included:
- Website Redesign – creating a modern, user-friendly platform with clear access to school information.
- Parent Portal – a secure space where families can follow their child’s progress, view upcoming events, and communicate directly with teachers.
- Social Media Strategy – expanding the school’s online presence to reach both current and prospective international families.
- Workshops & Training – equipping staff with the skills to manage and grow their digital channels independently.

Aalborg Institute for Development’s Role
AID delivered strategic advice, technical guidance, and hands-on workshops. Our role was not only to implement solutions but to ensure Montessori International Preschool could maintain and expand their digital tools long-term.

Looking Ahead
With its new digital infrastructure, Montessori International Preschool is better positioned to serve its community of international families. The project created stronger connections between parents and educators and set the stage for continued growth in Denmark’s education sector.
