The Challenge

Entrepreneurs who have fled war face challenges far beyond business planning. Trauma, cultural adjustment, emotional stress, and uncertainty can create barriers to confidence, communication, and integration. For Ukrainian entrepreneurs in Denmark, developing soft skills is not simply an advantage—it is a vital foundation for rebuilding their lives and careers.

This project offered a safe, structured, and supportive space where participants gained psychological resilience, learned to navigate Danish culture and business norms, and strengthened their communication and leadership abilities—all essential for personal and entrepreneurial growth.

Our Approach

Aalborg Institute for Development (AID) delivered nine carefully structured workshops across three thematic courses. AID developed the curriculum, designed the learning content, facilitated the training, and executed a complete marketing strategy to maximize participation within the Ukrainian community.

  3. The Journey to Healing: Embracing Self-Care for Trauma Recovery and Moving Forward

Course 2 – Discovering Denmark & Danish Business Culture
