The workshop will provide Ukrainians in Denmark practical strategies for coping with trauma and stress. It will cover the topics of Stigma around mental health, When and Where to look for professional help and will cover positive activities/changes to do to help ourselves though traumatic times. It will also provide an opportunity for participants to connect with others who have similar experiences and to gain a sense of belonging and support. Ultimately, the workshop aims to empower participants to take control of their healing journey and to build resilience in the face of adversity.

Speakers:
Dr Anastasiia Sydorenko – Doctor of Medical Science and PhD in Medical Psychology from the Kharkiv Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education. Dr Sydorenko is working as a lecturer and assistant professor at the Bogomolets National Medical University and is also currently a research fellow at the Aarhus University in Denmark (Aarhus Institute of Advanced Studies – AIAS).
Sissi Bak – capacity building expert experienced in organizing workshops and online training with strong skills in event planning, project management, and instructional design.
