Aalborg Institute for Development (AID)  in cooperation with our partners from A More Inclusive Society (AMIS) and Iværksætter Danmark, are inviting all Ukrainians currently living in Denmark to join us for this free online course consisting a series of 3 Free Online Workshops on the topics of Stress, Trauma, Relocation and Healings.

This workshop is the second of the series and will be held online on the 26th February, from 10.00-13.00

“Decoding Trauma: Unlocking the Path to Recovery and Resilience”

The purpose of the workshop is to provide support and guidance for Ukraininans living in Denmark who have experienced the trauma of fleeing the war in Ukraine. The objective of the workshop is to help participants process their trauma and grief, and build resilience in the aftermath of a traumatic event. Through interactive exercises and group discussions, the participants will be encouraged to explore the impact of their experiences on their emotions, behaviors, and relationships, and to develop strategies for coping with the trauma and grief they may be experiencing. The workshop will provide an understanding of the concepts and symptoms of trauma and grief, and will offer practical strategies for coping with these challenges, such as management techniques and self-care. It will also provide an opportunity for participants to connect with others who have similar experiences and to gain a sense of belonging and support. Ultimately, the workshop aims to empower participants to take control of their healing journey and to build resilience in the face of adversity. It will also provide them with the tools, resources, and support they need to move forward in their lives with hope and purpose.
